Hello, beautiful people! I'm Sarah, working mama, writer, recovering fashion and beauty addict and a lover of travel, strong coffee, good books and a great dirty martini!

Modern life can be complex and hectic - and I'm all about finding the easy wins and ways to enjoy the everyday. I started this blog (and my Insta over at @theluxeeditblog) for busy working women who don't want to lose themselves in the rush. 

From having fun with fashion at any age, to beauty hacks in a hurry, home renovation, raising kids, building a career - and trying to have a good time along the way - I'm sharing the things that have helped me most and trying to figure out the rest as I go!

We're based in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire. I work full-time in higher education, and over the years we've balanced this with parenting, renovating an old Edwardian house and trying to stay happy, healthy and relatively sane.

I'm all about writing your own story and creating a life you absolutely love. No one has it all figured out all of the time - but that should never stop us moving forward.
